Tin Drum Asiacafe

So last night my friend and I went to the Tin Drum Asiacafe in Augusta (1149 Agerton Ln).  The Tin Drum is a chain restaurant found in a few locations throughout Georgia, but has the look and feel of a small, family-owned joint.  Ordering your food is fast and easy and everything is very well priced.  I ordered chicken tikka masala (pictured to the left) and my friend ordered sesame stir-fry.  One of the unique things about the menu is that it's so broad.  If you're in the mood for Indian, you can get Indian.  If you're in the mood for Chinese, you can get Chinese.  And everything tastes incredible.  The Tin Drum uses the freshest ingredients in all of their entrees.
The chicken tikka masala was very good.  It was creamy and the amount of tomatoes added to the curry gave it a little bit of a sweetness which helped to counter the spiciness.
The sesame stir-fry (to the right) was good too, with a
sweet yet savory flavor, according to my friend.
A word of advice: If you decide to order the Thai Iced Tea, note that the creamer for it is next to the container and not already mixed into the tea.  Also, if you're in the military, they do give a military discount at the location in Augusta.  The other locations around Georgia can be found on their website here.
And remember, if you're dining out, make sure it's delish!
